Folk Bitch Trio are a band born out of a mutual love for songwriting, truth, and rocking out. Heide Peverelle, Gracie Sinclair and Jeanie Pilkington are known for enrapturing audiences around their home city of Naarm/Melbourne with their sensitive and thoughtful arrangements of three part harmonies. What begun as a casual collaboration between three friends has led the trio to share stages with acts such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Julia Jacklin, Courtney Barnett and M.Ward (US), and perform at festivals including Port Fairy Folk Festival,

Boogie, Nine Lives, Queenscliff Music Festival, Auckland Folk Festival and more.

Following the release of their collaborative double single ‘If I Was A Man/Friendly Neighbour’ with Bones & Jones, the two Melbourne bands played a sold out launch at the Northcote Social Club, going on to later present a co-headline tour across Queensland and the Northern Rivers.

After making a noteworthy appearance at 2022’s Bigsound showcase, Folk Bitch Trio released their own debut singles & Lost; and Shivers and followed it up with the brilliant and highly acclaimed “Analogue/I Heard” in mid 2023 which garnered praise from all sorts including being named as one of the standout songs for 2023 by The Guardian.
